Driveway Access Notification

Monday, October 24, 2022

Due to supply and scheduling issues surrounding a national concrete shortage, the contractors for the Vadnais Heights 2022 Street Improvement Project will attempt to pour the majority, if not all, of the concrete curb tomorrow, October 25 on Oak Crest Drive and South Oak Drive.  All impacted residents will lose access to their driveway starting tomorrow at 7:00 am through next Tuesday 11/01, as concrete takes one week to cure before it can be driven on.

For constructability purposes, tomorrow, residents must park their cars on side streets or at the Community Park parking lot so that the contractors can install the concrete ribbon curb.  Once the curb has been poured, you will be able to park your cars on the street in front of your house.  We ask that you park on the same side of the street as your house (West side of Oak Crest Drive and South side of South Oak Drive) to allow for easier traffic flow through the area.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we move forward with the street improvements. Thank you.
