This week, Dresel Contracting, Inc., the contractors for the City of Vadnais Heights 2022 Street Improvement Project, completed work at the Community Park parking lot, except for seeding and striping. The lot is now open for use.

Work on utility improvements including watermain work is taking place along Oak Crest Drive and South Oak Drive this week and next. Please flush your cold water regularly. The best way is to flush from your laundry tub for about 10 minutes a couple times a day, or more often if you happen to notice discolored water. For those affected by temporary water shut-offs, notices will be placed on resident’s front doors one day in advance of planned shut-offs. 

Crews are also expected to begin curb placement along South Oak Drive and Oak Crest Drive next week. You will be notified in advance if your driveway is affected. 

As work progresses, a minimum of one lane of traffic will continue to be left open, though please be patient when driving through the project area as it is an active construction site.  We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and patience as the work progresses.  Please keep children a safe distance away from activities.
