2021 Street Improvement Project - Construction Update Thursday, July 1, 2021
This week, T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc., the contractors for the City of Vadnais Heights 2021 Street Improvement Project, continued work on utility improvements on Suzanne Court, Suzanne Avenue, Martin Way, and Southwood Drive and will continue with this work through next week. This work includes replacing bolts on gate valves, replacing gate valves where needed and making improvements to the sanitary sewer and storm sewer structures and pipes in the area. Please note, if at any time your water is discolored, you should flush your line and leave your cold water running. Once the line has been cleared, your water should return to normal. We are flushing the main line as well. Visit our City website for FAQs on Hydrant Flushing & Discolored/Odorous Water. There should always be at least one lane of traffic open, so it should not impact any access to and from the area but please be patient as traffic will be slower. Sidewalks are incomplete on Rice Street. Please use caution in the area and pay attention to any barriers in the walking lane. Residents will be notified if their driveway will be blocked or if their water is temporarily shut off. There will be disruption, so thank you in advance for your patience. Please keep children a safe distance away from activities. Thank you!
