This week, Bituminous Roadways, the contractors for the City of Vadnais Heights 2020 Street Improvement Project, will continue with construction on Thomas Court, Lambert Creek Lane, and Tessier Trail. The base course of asphalt will likely be paved on Friday, July 24. Next week, if your asphalt driveway was impacted by construction, it will be removed and replaced. While it is removed, please park on the street or you may drive through your lawn. Once the asphalt in your driveway has been rolled and cooled, you can drive on it again. Once the base layer of asphalt is on the road, we will raise the manholes and gate valves to the proper grade before putting on the final layer of asphalt. 

Construction will also continue on Arcade Street with utility improvements. This work includes replacing bolts on gate valves, adding and updating gate valves, and making improvements to the sanitary sewer and storm sewer structures in the area. There should always be at least one lane of traffic open, so it should not impact any access to and from the area but please be patient as traffic will be slower. Sidewalks will be impacted. Please follow the signs posted for sidewalk detours. Residents will be notified if their driveway will be blocked or if their water is temporarily shut off.
