[ARCHIVED] Volunteer Needed for Open Position on the Planning Commission

Have a desire to serve your community? The city is seeking a resident to fill an open position as an alternate member on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is the advisory board for the City Council on issues relating to development-related topics, including the Comprehensive Plan, reviewing and recommending modifications to the City's Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance, and considering all development plans and subdivisions. The Planning Commission reviews land use applications including site plan reviews, special use permits, variances, preliminary and final plats, and planned unit developments. The commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at City Hall in the Council Chambers.
