Coaching Youth Sports
Volunteer coaches make our youth sport leagues possible! No coaching experience is necessary to get involved, just a passion for creating fun and encouraging environments for kids! All of our programs focus on helping kids be active and have fun, while exploring interests and developing fundamental skills in a recreational sports setting. The program provides equipment and practice resources, and assigns rosters and schedules for volunteer coaches. We assign two coaches to each team whenever possible, so feel free to recruit another parent/guardian to co-coach with you! As our thanks, registration fees are waived for coaches’ players.
How to Apply
If you would like to volunteer to coach, you may register online for your child’s program. Fees are waived at checkout for our volunteer coaches! We accept coaches on a rolling basis, and allow a maximum of two coaches per team. If coaching positions fill before you register, you may be asked to submit the registration fees for your player(s). The website will be updated periodically during the registration window as positions fill.
You will also need to submit a coach application form and background check form if you have not done so within the calendar year. You may submit the below completed forms to email@example.com or mail or drop off at City Hall, 800 East County Road E. City Hall is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or use our after-hours drop box in our entrance driveway (silver mailbox next to the blue USPS box).
