Mark your calendars for Heritage Days, August 12-15,2021. All events take place at Community Park, 641 East County Road F, or Vadnais Heights Commons, 655 E County Road F, Vadnais Heights unless otherwise noted. In case of rain, some events will have an alternative indoor location.

The Medallion Hunt offers a $200 prize!  It begins on Monday, August 9, with clues posted at City Hall, Community Park, Kohler Meadows Park, on the City’s website and on the medallion hotline (651-204-6017).  
Heritage Days Food Vendors
Enjoy the wide variety of food vendors at Vadnais Heights Heritage Days.  In addition to sponsoring Saturday’s pig roast, the Lions will sell beer, wine and craft beer, corn on the cob, root beer, hamburgers, pork sliders and coleslaw.  Other culinary delights include pizza, mini donuts, corn dogs, cheese curds, french fries, nachos, onion rings, hamburgers, and more. 

  1. Thursday, August 15, 2019
  • Senior Picnic.  Noon-2pm at Vadnais Heights Commons.  Social hour and information tables 10am-Noon. Cost is $5 per person.  Advanced registration required by Thursday, August 8.  Sponsored by the Vadnais Heights Lions Club and the Parks and Recreation Department.
  • Water Ski Show.  7pm at Goose Lake on Hoffman Road, White Bear Lake.

  • Breakfast at Gable Pines.  (1260 East County Road E). 8-10am. RSVP to 651-829-3171.  Open to all ages.  $5 suggested donation, benefiting the Vadnais Heights Senior Hi-Lites.  
  1. Saturday, August 17, 2019
  • Kiddie Parade.  Children ages 12 and under line up at 9:45am and begin at 10am. The parade starts at the flagpole and ends at the free Children’s Games. Sponsored by Children’s Discovery Academy. 
  • Children's Activities.  10:00am-12:00pm. Face painting, colored hair spray and children's games. Sponsored by the Vadnais Heights Lions Club. Free, donations accepted. 
  • Lions Annual Pig Roast.  11:30am and continues until the pork is gone. $5 - sandwich, $1 each - beans/coleslaw/chips/beverage. Proceeds benefit the Vadnais Heights Lions Club.
  • Power of 10.  Noon-2pm.  Classic rock.
  • Dunk Tank.  Noon-5pm. All proceeds benefit the Boy Scouts of Troop 212. 
  • Magic Bounce Fun Zone.  Noon-9pm.  Interactives, moonwalks, and bouncer/slider combo.  
  • Merchandise Mart & Craft Fair, Commercial Vendors.  Noon-5pm.
  • Bean Bag Tournament.  Double elimination, two players per team.  Check in from noon-1pm; play begins at 1pm.  $20 per team.  Online registration available.  32 teams accepted.
  • Water Ball Tournament.  Begins at noon.  In-house competition between Vadnais Heights Firefighter teams.  Two person teams compete against one another by using nozzles and hose lines to move a suspended "ball" to score points.   
  • Co-Rec Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament.  Online registration available. 
  • Jonah and the Whales.  7:30-10:30pm (before & after fireworks).
  • Fireworks.  Enjoy a pyro-musical fireworks display at dusk.  Sponsored by the Vadnais Heights Lions Club and Heritage Days sponsors.

  1. Sunday, August 18, 2019
  • Fire Relief Association Booya.  8am until gone.  Booya is a stew made from chicken, beef, vegetables and seasonings slow cooked in kettles.  Prices are $6 per scoop, or $50 per bucket(provided).  Delicious!
  • Outdoor Worship Service.  9am in Kohler Meadows Park.  Bring lawn chairs or blanket.  Sponsored by Christ the Servant Lutheran Church. 
  • Car Show.  11am-3pm, presented by Cops-n-Rodders.  Sponsored by Culver’s of Vadnais Heights.
  • Grande Parade.  Starts at noon at the intersection of McMenemy and Oak Grove Parkway, heads south down McMenemy to County Road F, and turns east to Community Park.
  • Dunk Tank.  Noon-5pm.  All proceeds benefit the Boy Scouts of Troop 212. 
  • Merchandise Mart & Craft Fair, Commercial Vendors.  Noon-5pm. 
  • Bingo.  1-5pm under the tent.  Sponsored by AFSA High School. 
  • Magic Bounce Fun Zone.  1-5pm.  Interactives, moonwalks, and bouncer/slider combo.
  • The Home Fires.  2:30-4:15pm.
  • Men’s D Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament.  Online registration available.
