The Health and Public Safety Commission assists and advises the City Council on policy related to public safety and solid waste. The Commission annually reviews police, fire, paramedic, and EMT response, animal control, emergency management, traffic, and other street and trail concerns.
Fire Chief Chris Hearden is the liaison to this commission. Also attending the meetings are representatives from the Ramsey County Sheriff Department and Allina.
This advisory commission meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
