Departments & Services

The Finance Department provides financial management and accounting services for all City operations. This includes the daily financial operation of processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, utility billing, and risk management.

The City of Vadnais Heights boasts more than 100 acres of active parkland spread across 14 parks.

Public Works ensures that City streets are well maintained, parks and City property are neatly groomed, and water and sewer systems are functioning properly.

Public safety covers a wide-range of services. Working for you are the Vadnais Heights Fire Department, Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department, Emergency Management, Allina Hospitals and Clinics, neighborhood watch and animal control.

The City Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of the City.

The City of Vadnais Heights currently has approximately 30 staff positions. From time to time, there are job openings in the City, and we actively advertise and recruit to fill these positions.

Vadnais Heights Recreation provides a wide range of year-round activities, programs, and events for all ages, interests, and abilities. Recreational opportunities are also available through School District 624's Community Services Program.

The City of Vadnais Heights provides its residents with utility services including water and sewer. Utility bills are sent to residential and commercial properties on a quarterly basis.
