About the Event

 
Local businesses, organizations, and residents are invited to build a scarecrow. 
Trophy for the People’s Choice scarecrow! 

Scarecrow entry information: 
  • No fee to participate! An entry form is due no later than October 22 to be eligible for the People’s Choice competition. If you are experiencing issues submitting the form, please email katie.everett@cityvadnaisheights.com to complete your entry.  
  • Entrants must set up their scarecrow display on Monday, October 26 between 11 am and 6 pm. 
  • Scarecrows must be self-supporting (please, no stakes in the ground)
  • Be creative with your decoration! All content must be appropriate for all ages and audiences. 
  • Entries will be given roughly a 10’ x 10’ space.

About the Event


Put on your favorite Halloween Costume, and join us for a socially-distanced costume parade through the Scarecrow Trail! Vote for your favorite Scarecrow entry - there will be a trophy for the People's Choice! Treat bags will be provided by Vadnais Heights Fire Relief Association.

Masks/face coverings are required for anyone over 2 years old - consider incorporating a cloth face mask in your costume! 

Non-perishable food items and monetary donations to the Vadnais Heights Community Food Program will be collected (optional).
